Marlow Bottom Parish includes the rural settlement of Marlow Bottom and the immediately surrounding fields and woods. The village centre includes a post office, general store, butchers, newsagent, fish and chip shop, chemist, veterinary clinic, a dog groomers, two hairdressers, a music shop and other shopping facilities as well as a dentist, an osteopath and an estate agent.
It has two churches, a highly regarded infant/junior school and a playing field with a children’s play area, recently upgraded with £60,000 worth of new equipment. There is a community hall and club. At the entrance to the Valley is the renowned Rebellion Brewery which has its own retail outlet and regular open evenings and guided tours. There is also a small commercial industrial estate, The Rose Industrial Estate.
