Marlow Bottom is situated in a wooded valley on the outskirts of Marlow.
The Parish is within the Chilterns AONB with 51% in the Green Belt. The population of Marlow Bottom is approximately 3200.
Marlow Bottom Parish includes the rural settlement of Marlow Bottom and the immediate surrounding fields and woods. The village centre offers a wide variety of shops including a post office and general store, an Italian restaurant, a hearing centre, hairdressers, beauty salon, fish and chip shop, chemist, dog groomers, barbers and coffee shop as well as veterinary clinic, a dentist, an osteopath, a solicitors, children’s nursery and an estate agent.
It has a church, a highly regarded infant/junior school and a playing field with a children’s play area. There is a community hall and a members club which is the hub of the village. At the entrance to the valley is the renowned Rebellion Brewery which has its own taproom, retail outlet, open evenings and guided tours. There is also a small commercial industrial estate, The Rose Industrial Estate.
